Study on the Smart Miswak Brush
A study was conducted to evaluate the benefits of Miswak fibers and natural silica in dentistry at the Department of Oral Sciences, Graduate School of Dentistry, Kanagawa Dental University, Japan.
1- A toothbrush featuring natural silica bristles and Miswak fibers was used to clean participants' teeth for a period of two weeks.
2- Results were compared with a traditional nylon-bristled toothbrush.
3- The study found that the toothbrush with natural silica bristles and Miswak fibers was more effective at removing plaque, tartar, and bacteria from teeth than a traditional nylon-bristle toothbrush.
4- It was also found that the toothbrush with natural silica bristles and Miswak fibers was safe to use and did not cause any side effects. To view the study, click here.
